The voters
of Cass County will have a clear choice for
Sheriff on election day. Beyond a broad,
decades long background in law enforcement,
Sheriff Tom Burch has brought a strong
management focus to the operation of the Cass
County Sheriff’s office. A state of the art
communications system, cross-training staff for
more focused service delivery, and working
closely and cooperatively with the Cass Board of
Commissioners and the Cass County Attorneys
office provides the basis for the Sheriff’s
Office offering high level services while
keeping tax payer costs low. His work with
TRIAD, the Association of Cass County Lakes, and
other grass roots organizations keeps him close
to the pulse of the community and better able to
serve the citizens. On his watch and with new
staff leadership, the Minnesota Dept. of
Corrections rating of the antiquated county
jail facility has risen to very high levels
compared to those of years past. I
strongly urge the voters of Cass County to
re-elect Sheriff Tom Burch and keep him working
hard for all of us, providing high quality law
enforcement and service to the community.

years, and now as your sheriff for the last four
